The federal legislation includes a number of licensing requirements for potential processors and cultivators of the product.<\/p>\n<p>Although in Quebec Bill 157 was introduced in November, 2017, we still await the results of hearings before the committee on health and social services and the passage of a recreational cannabis bill to address the sale and distribution of cannabis. In the meantime, licensed producers and cultivators are gearing up for an anticipated late summer kick-off date.
