With that, of course, has come a greater call on the services of the bar.<\/p>\n<p>Morris Szwimer, shareholder in the commercial group and a great asset in the cannabis team at Spiegel Sohmer, was interviewed by the well-known magazine <em>Canadian Lawyer<\/em> on the effects of the <em>Cannabis Act<\/em> in the different law firms in an article entitled: <em>The green gold rush<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust like any other sectors, we realized there are real estate, tax components, IP, licensing, branding components, all these areas of law that we traditionally service, now servicing one more sector: cannabis. This led firms to concentrate their efforts on this new area.
