Said activities had been reduced to ease the burden on Canadian taxpayers in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Indeed, several of the Agency&#8217;s activities have been on hold for several weeks and even months now, including the vast majority of audit activities.<\/p>\n<p>However, according to the press release available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/revenue-agency\/campaigns\/covid-19-update\/covid-19-business-resumption.html\">here<\/a>, activities that will have a direct impact on the financial capacities of Canadian taxpayers will now resume.
