Lissia is a lawyer in the tax litigation group under the direction of Mtre Paul Ryan, Ad.E.
Her practice is versatile, having been primarily focused on civil, commercial and real estate litigation, gaining valuable experience in these matters at renowned multidisciplinary law firms. In addition, she has gained valuable experience in labor law and dispute resolution in this field.
As part of her practice, Lissia pleads before various federal and provincial courts and judicial authorities. She favors a pragmatic approach to conflict resolution, seeking a complete and effective solution to her clients’ disputes.
A double graduate of the University of Montreal’s Faculty of Law, Lissia has distinguished herself on several occasions during her academic career. In particular, she was recognized by the Association des professeures et professeurs de droit du Québec (A.P.D.Q.) for having drafted the best master’s thesis in Quebec entitled “L’obligation de résidence chez l’employeur imposée aux travailleurs agricoles et domestiques migrants au Canada : une atteinte à leur droit constitutionnel à la liberté”. Throughout her graduate studies, she worked as a research assistant and has published articles and memorandums on private international family law.
