Mtre Félix St-Vincent Gagné is a partner with the tax litigation group.
Félix was a partner with Ravinsky Ryan Lemoine, up until the merger with Spiegel Sohmer to create Spiegel Ryan.
In his practice, he represents taxpayers before the tax authorities at all stages of litigation, from the audit to the appeals before the courts, in matters concerning corporate and personal income tax, GST, QST and other taxes.
He also represents taxpayers in matters of cancellation, rectification, judicial review, tax evasion, and customs duties.
Félix has distinguished himself in tax avoidance and tax litigation and audit files involving trusts.
During his master’s degree in taxation, he wrote an essay on the General Anti-Avoidance Rule (GAAR), under the supervision of the Honourable Robert J. Hogan of the Tax Court of Canada.
