We are currently seeking a paralegal specializing in business law.
The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting various corporate and tax documents (incorporations, reorganizations, amendments to articles of incorporation, dissolutions, share transactions, extra-provincial registrations, rollovers, estate freezes, mergers, tax reorganizations) and performing other transactions, such as due diligence in connection with business acquisitions and sales. The person will also be responsible for maintaining the minute books for our corporate clients and assisting attorneys with transactional matters.
Required qualifications and skills:
DEC in legal techniques or equivalent
3 to 5 years of experience as a paralegal
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Provide excellent customer service (internal and external) and demonstrate courteous and professional behavior
Great attention to detail
Confidentiality and reliability
Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks
Fluency in French and English (the person will be required to serve and interact with a predominantly English-speaking clientele (85%), both orally and in writing

We are currently seeking a tax attorney with at least 2 years of experience in a law firm.
The successful candidate will primarily work on personal and corporate tax planning, corporate reorganizations, and estate and post-mortem planning as part of our dynamic team.
Main Responsibilities
Handle personal and corporate tax planning engagements
Participate in corporate reorganization matters
Conduct estate and post-mortem planning
Advise clients and draft related legal opinions and documents
Required Qualifications
Be a member in good standing of the Quebec Bar
Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a law firm
Hold a master’s degree in taxation or have completed the Fundamental Tax Course offered by the Ordre des CPA du Québec
Language Requirements
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written (the candidate will serve and interact with a predominantly English-speaking client base, representing approximately 85% of the clientele)
