Louis-Jean Leclerc, LL.B., J.D., LL.M., is a litigation lawyer specializing exclusively in family law. Known for his rigor, integrity, and strategic approach, he effectively and empathetically supports his clients in cases related to divorce, separation, parenting time, division of property, and various family law claims, including unjust enrichment.

A member of the Quebec Bar since 2020, Louis-Jean has a solid academic background enhanced by international training. After earning his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université Laval and his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Victoria, he completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at University College London, graduating with distinction. His participation in the prestigious Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot allowed him to further develop his legal analysis and advocacy skills.

With extensive experience in private practice, Louis-Jean always prioritizes alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and settlement conferences, to provide solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client. However, when an amicable resolution is not possible, he vigorously represents his clients’ interests before the courts.

Socially engaged and involved in the legal community, Louis-Jean has been recognized multiple times for his active participation in student life at Université Laval. He has also contributed to various projects aimed at improving access to justice, both in Canada and internationally.
