General presentation

Marjorie Bergeron has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2006. She specializes in transactional taxation and tax reorganizations. In these fields, Marjorie handles all aspects, from due diligence to negotiations, including drafting agreements (such as shareholder agreements, purchase and sale agreements, rollover agreements, forms, tax calculations, etc.). She actively collaborates with her internal team and external partners to successfully complete transactions. On behalf of the Quebec government, Marjorie had the opportunity to develop and implement the mandatory disclosure program for designated operations. She also analyzed preventive disclosures to validate the tax compliance of complex global transactions.

Additionally, Marjorie is a lecturer in tax policy at the Université du Québec à Montréal and is a renowned speaker in the tax community.

She holds a master’s degree in tax law from HEC Montréal as well as a postgraduate diploma in administration from the Université de Sherbrooke. Throughout her academic career, she accumulated scholarships and awards of excellence from all three faculties. Her most recent management degree allowed her to develop advanced critical analysis skills to identify and implement solutions to complex organizational problems in taxation for entrepreneurs.
